Kite Power El Gouna is the oldest kite school in the town, founded in 2004. It is located on the flat‑water lagoon and holds the IKO Pro Center and VDWS accreditation. The school offers a low‑to‑waist teaching area with a maximum of two students per instructor, and instructors communicate in eight languages.

Students can take lessons using helmet radios and the onsite weather station indicates about 77% of days are suitable for kitesurfing. The school is adjacent to its own beach and a short walk takes you to the Makani Beach Club. Nearby cafés include Cubix by DROP and Riah Restaurant & Bar.
